Henry Fayne - Chairman
During his thirty-year career at American Electric Power, an electric utility company serving 5 million customers in eleven states, Mr. Fayne held senior positions on both the financial and operating side of the business. As Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President - Financial Services, he was responsible for financial planning and budgeting, risk management, internal audits, accounting and treasury functions. In 2001, he became Executive Vice President - Energy Services, responsible for transmission, distribution and customer service for the AEP System. He retired at the end of 2004.

Mr. Fayne is a director of MYR Group Inc, a leading electrical infrastructure specialty contractor, and Murray Energy Corporation, a privately held coal mining company. He is also a director of Directions of Youth and Families, a non-profit organization serving children at risk in Franklin County, Ohio.

Mr. Fayne has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Columbia College of Columbia University and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Columbia Graduate School of Business. Management, a global asset management leader providing world-class investments solutions to institutions, individuals and financial intermediaries.

Geoff Chatas
Geoff Chatas currently serves as Senior Vice President for Business and Finance and Chief Financial Officer at The Ohio State University.

Geoff was an acquisitions officer for the Infrastructure Investments Group at JPMorgan Asset Management before going to Ohio State. For nearly ten years prior to his experience at JPMorgan, Geoff spent most of his career focused on the energy and aviation sectors as an executive at two power companies, Progress Energy and American Electric (AEP). As CEO of Progress Energy he was responsible for corporate development, including asset acquisition and disposition. At AEP, Geoff was responsible for corporate and project finance and directed investments in infrastructure assets in North America, Europe and Asia. He oversaw the financial aspects of AEP’s investments in infrastructure assets including electricity generation and distribution assets in the United Kingdom, the US and Australia.

Prior to joining AEP, Geoff worked in the banking industry.

Mr. Chatas obtained a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from Georgetown University, a Masters Degree from
Oxford University and a Masters of Business Administration from INSEAD.

Ben Krause
Ben Krause joined Hastings in December 2008 and is currently an Associate Director, Infrastructure. Ben focuses on acquisitions and asset management in the energy and utilities sectors.

Prior to joining Hastings, Ben was an Associate in the Global Commodities Group at Lehman Brothers focusing on structured commodity transactions involving power, natural gas, coal, renewables and emissions for independent power and regulated utility clients. Before moving to the commodities area, he was an Analyst in Lehman's Global Power Group focusing on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and corporate advisory to power and utility companies in the United States.

Mr. Krause holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics from Colgate University.

Armando Peña
Mr. Peña spent his career (1971-2004) with American Electric Power (AEP), one of the largest electric utilities in the United States. He served as Senior Vice President - Financial Policy from 2003 until 2004 and was Treasurer of AEP and its subsidiary companies, including AEP Service Corp., from 1995 until 2003.

Prior to being Treasurer, Mr. Peña had been promoted to Vice President - Financial in 1989, was elected assistant Vice President - Banking and Security Analyst Relations in 1982 and served as Assistant to the President in 1979. Mr. Peña joined the company in 1971 as a controllership staff analyst.

Mr. Peña immigrated to the United States with his family from Cuba in 1961. He received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Miami in Florida in 1966 and a Master of Science in Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1968. In addition, he completed the AEP Management Development Program at the University of Michigan.

Peter Taylor
Peter Taylor joined Hastings in March 2000 and he is currently the Director, Infrastructure. Mr. Taylor was the Responsible Executive for The Infrastructure Fund from July 2000 to June 2006 and was appointed Chief Operating Officer of UTA in January 2004. In August, Mr. Taylor relocated to New York to establish Hastings' North American business. Mr. Taylor leads Hastings efforts in the United States, with a focus on North America, strategic relationships and partnerships to further Hastings' managed funds' objectives through new investment opportunities, equity asset management and capital raising. Recently, he provided leadership on key outcomes for the Hastings group including the acquisition and merger of the United Kingdom water companies (Mid Kent Water and South East Water), developing the Zachry relationship and the Southwest Generation acquisition. During his time with Hastings, he has been a Director of Perth Airport, Northern Territory Airports, Queensland Airports Limited, M5 Motorway (Sydney), Port of Portland, Epic Energy, and Global Renewables.

Prior to joining Hastings, Mr. Taylor worked in the Structured Asset Finance division at Deutsche Bank and at a number of chartered accounting firms in Brisbane and Sydney.

Mr. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Business from Queensland University of Technology, majoring in business and taxation law, all areas of accounting, auditing and corporate finance and is a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
